TDAP finalises establishment of help desk at Lasbela Chamber
KARACHI: In a significant move to boost trade in Southern Balochistan, Secretary TDAP along with senior officials from TDAP and PHDEC visited the Lasbela Chamber (LCCI) to officially establish a dedicated TDAP & PHDEC Help Desk.
Received by LCCI President and Hub Salt CEO Ismail Sattar, and joined by Deputy Commissioner Hub Jumadad, the delegation discussed strategic support for nearly three hundred local companies registered in Lasbela Industrial Zone and Marble City and also for the Southern Balochistan’s agricultural and horticulture exporters.
Before the meeting, the officials also toured the Hub Salt Industry, where Sattar shared crucial economic insights and trade potential of Balochistan specially in the minerals sector.
Highlighting the region’s massive industrial footprint, Sattar noted that Hub alone contributes an impressive Rs 480 billion to the nation’s tax collection. Both sides agreed to develop a joint action plan and would jointly execute it in a public-private collaboration mode which marks a major step forward in unlocking the immense export and economic potential of Balochistan.
