KARACHI: The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association on Wednesday welcomed the recent truce between the United States and Iran, commending the country’s armed forces for their diplomatic efforts in helping defuse tensions in the Persian Gulf.
In a brief statement, the association’s president, Qasim Shikarpuri, paid rich tribute to the Pakistani military, saying the armed forces have consistently played a pivotal role in safeguarding national sovereignty and maintaining regional stability. “Their contributions fill the entire nation with pride,” he added.
Shikarpuri lauded the professional services of the armed forces in defending the country, ensuring its security, and fostering peace in the region. He emphasized that their sacrifices and service remain unforgettable.
The association president also expressed happiness over the easing of hostilities between Iran and the United States, describing the reduction in tensions as a highly significant development for regional peace. He further praised Pakistan’s constructive and positive role, which reflects the country’s ongoing efforts to promote global peace.
Concluding his remarks, Qasim Shikarpuri saluted the Pakistani armed forces and affirmed that the nation stands united with its brave military, holding their services in the highest esteem.
