On Monday, 27 people were arrested attempting to protest against the genocidal Israeli president’s arrival in Sydney. Despite police brutality and closure of all avenues to reach Town Hall a huge crowd gathered there. Police used violent tactics as they do in Pakistan to disperse the crowd.
On Tuesday another massive public rally was arranged to protest against the arrested protestors.
Police have been given special powers to use violent methods of clubbing and spraying the pepper spray to deal with the peaceful protestors and to arrest them on the spot on the charge of committing violence against police and raiding prohibited slogans such as ‘Globalise Intifada’ and ‘from river to the sea, Palestine will be free’. We have become a third world country.
