‘Providing maximum relief to people during Ramazan is top priority’
KARACHI: An important meeting was held at the Governor House, Karachi, co-chaired by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori and Chairman MQM-Pakistan and Federal Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
The meeting was also attended by senior leaders of MQM-Pakistan, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Amin-ul- Haq and members of the Central Coordination Committee.
The participants requested the Governor of Sindh to hold a public ‘Sehri’ and ‘Iftar’ at the Governor House as per the previous tradition.
Proposals for a conference of all stakeholders in Karachi on February 14 and a public gathering for the martyrs of the Gul Plaza and Tarlai tragedies on February 15 were also considered.
Detailed review of Ramazan arrangements was also made.
The Governor emphasised on the cleanliness of the city, distribution of ration to the needy and setting up of low priced bazaars during the Ramazan.

He expressed commitment to continue providing full support to the deserving people during the holly month of Ramazan.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and other participants of the meeting paid tribute to the Governor for his three- year of public service.
IT initiative, ration program and welfare projects declared as prominent efforts of the Governor, Siddiqui said.
