ISLAMABAD: The government on Tuesday assured overseas Pakistanis that their investments will be safeguarded through the provision of secure and investor-friendly environment, with swift and transparent action to protect their assets.
“For Overseas Pakistanis, if you report any qabza (illegal occupation), the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad is required to resolve it within seven days. Your property rights will be protected, and no one will be allowed to take what is lawfully yours,” Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said in a post on X.
He added that investments in the Islamabad Capital Territory are welcome and valued. “We will provide a secure, investor-friendly environment and ensure 100 percent protection of your assets,” he stated.
