KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government, Housing and Town Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has said that Sindh is the land of tolerance, forgiveness, patience, peace, and love. Sindh is the land of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Sachal Sarmast, and the Sufis. He stated that the Sindhi language is now also available on Google, and its translation can easily be done.
He expressed these views on Saturday while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the two-day 8th Sindh Literary Festival organized by the Sindh Literature Foundation at a local hotel. The opening ceremony was attended by Mehtab Akbar Rashdi, Sarfaraz Rajar, Ghanwar Khan Leghari, and others, while vibrant displays of Sindhi literature and culture were also presented.
Traditional dance performances and stalls featuring ajrak, rilli, and Sindhi caps were also set up. Nasir Hussain Shah said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision is one of development and progress.
