ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani has said the diplomatic relations between Italy and Pakistan are rooted in mutual respect and expanding collaboration. He made these remarks at a luncheon, said a press release issued here on Thursday.

Italy remains one of Pakistan’s largest trading partners within the European Union, underscoring the importance of strengthening economic and political linkages, the press release added.
