KARACHI: Gold prices on Wednesday saw a slight fall but silver stood firm on the local market, traders said.

Gold prices declined by Rs300 and Rs236 to reach Rs248200 per tola and Rs212791 per 10 grams, respectively.

On the world market, bullion value dipped mildly by $3 to settle for $2415 per ounce while silver was available for $32 an ounce, traders quoted. Locally, silver was traded for Rs2850 per tola and Rs2443.41 per 10 grams, according to the traders.
