Customs seizes crystal Meth worth Rs3.8m at JIA

KARACHI: The Collectorate of Customs, Airport has seized a substantial quantity of crystal Meth (MDMA) at International Mail Office (IMO), Jinnah International Airport.

According to the details, the customs officials during scanning at the International Mail Office (IMO) stopped a parcel that came from Canada over the suspicion of containing psychotropic drugs. Later, the department after a thorough examination recovered 255 grams of crystal Meth (MDMA) worth Rs3.8 million, approx.

Consequent upon the recovery, the case has been registered and efforts are being made to nab the persons behind this heinous crime.
