If they’re moving equipment and troops from the region, and Western European involvement seems only cosmetic because of their engagement in Europe, then where do we go from here? Pakistan’s ship helping Qatar was a good sign. But an economically bankrupt country full of corrupt criminals unwilling to pay taxes and fund the country’s budget, forget the military, can’t do much unless things change (for the better). Words in brackets were present in the script of Obama’s Cairo speech but weren’t said out loud. A sign of what would happen. And then it happened. The problems faced by the so-called Middle East are only going to be worsened by these people pulling out completely and disengaging, except for the sake of Israel and the second coming, of course. The void left behind could have been filled by Pakistan, as a fellow Muslim country, with far fewer suspicions and doubts associated with us except for a lack of reliability and integrity (corruption). Let’s see where things go from here.
