KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.732 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,273. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.930 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.117 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.106 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.397 billion), DJ (PKR 705.466 million), Silver (PKR 623.211 million), Copper (PKR 256.370 million), Platinum (PKR 250.772 million), SP 500 (PKR 180.825 million), Natural Gas (PKR 108.211 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 56.064 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.507 million were traded.
