KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.710 billion and the number of lots traded at 16,424. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.236 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.377 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.333 billion), Silver (PKR 1.137 billion), Platinum (PKR 863.799 million), Crude Oil (PKR 706.469 million), Copper (PKR 433.998 million), DJ (PKR 395.151 million), SP 500 (PKR 157.369 million), Natural Gas (PKR 64.928 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.493 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.265 million were traded.
