OSLO: Norway's preliminary oil output rose in January, but was 1.4 percent below the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate's forecast for the month, the regulator said on Wednesday.
Natural gas production rose from the previous month to 11.3 billion cubic metres (bcm), 4.9 percent above the forecast.
