Automated DDB system now fully operational

ISLAMABAD: The automated Duty Drawback (DDB) system, conceived by Ministry of Commerce and jointly implemented by Pakistan Customs and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), is now fully operational.

An internal meeting presided over by Prime Minister Advisor on Commerce, Abdul Razak Dawood on Thursday was told that a total of 7,998 claims amounting to refunds of around Rs 953 million have been processed through the system up to October 20, 2020.
