KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.427 billion and the number of lots traded 8,390.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.562 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.203 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 699.306 million, silver PKR 651.170 million, currencies through COTS PKR 607.829 million, natural gas PKR 288.215 million, platinum PKR 209.504 million, crude oil PKR 103.410 million, copper PKR 69.314 million and SP500 PKR 32.300 million.

In agriculture commodities, 15 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 76.053 million, one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.563 million and one lots of cotton amounting to PKR 0.567 million were traded.
