KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.741 billion and the number of lots traded 11,293.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.117 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.199 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 951.475 million, silver PKR 925.004 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 705.177 million, natural gas PKR 292.509 million, platinum PKR 233.276 million, crude oil PKR 158.047 million, copper PKR 131.723 million and SP500 PKR 27.569 million.

In agriculture commodities, 10 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 49.774 million, 2 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 17.149 million and one lot of corn amounting to PKR 3.276 million were traded.
