KARACHI: After an increase in coronavirus cases in Karachi, it has been decided that restaurants, wedding halls and schools violating corona SOPs will be shut down.
A meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi on Wednesday revealed that there has been a sharp rise in coronavirus cases during the last one week. The Commissioner was briefed that restaurants and marriage halls violating SOPs will be closed.
Commissioner Karachi directed the management to keep the violating restaurants and marriage halls closed for at least three days and directed Deputy Commissioners to keep a check on all restaurants and marriage halls in their respective districts.—NNI
