ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid on Monday, while warning Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif to refrain from insulting him in the future, said that if she did not stop defaming him, he would go to any extent.

Addressing a press conference here, the railways minister said that during her recent media interactions, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has thrice talked, "I don't know about the respect of the blood relations, I want to tell her, I have five brothers and three sisters, all with children, therefore, I have all the respect for the relations. Maryam should stop talking against me, otherwise, I will conduct a serious postmortem of her relationships," Sheikh said.

Talking about Panama case verdict, he said that the PML-N leadership welcomed court decision when in favor, while reject decision when against.

He added that Panama case judgment was passed by top judges of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan including present Chief Justice Justice Gulzar Ahmed and other judges. He said that Asif Zardari and his sister, Faryal Talpur, had not made huge hue and cry over court judgments against them as they left for their homes after court convicted them.

He said that Article 6 of the Constitution must be applied against those who chanted slogans against General Bajwa and Pakistan armed forces, saying the armed forces of the country had rendered significant sacrifices to protect the country from its enemies.
