KARACHI: Spokesperson of Sindh Government and Advisor for Law, Environment & Coastal Development, Barrister Murtaza Wahab has strongly condemned the rise in prices of medicines, saying that the federal government wants to create an artificial wheat crisis in Punjab.

He expressed these views in Clifton Park on Saturday. Barrister Murtaza Wahab while talking to the media after addressing the ceremony of restoration of trees and parks in Sindh further said that people of Sindh are not getting gas and electricity crisis is the worst. Crisis of wheat is being created due to incompetence of the federal government but the MQM is busy sowing the seeds of hatred among the people instead of protesting on these issues.

He said that they are talking about dividing the people. We are uniting the people. To a question, he said that on the Public Safety Commission, IG Sindh has no objection. Those who are its members should also hold a press conference and go to court. People want to do politics under the guise of Sindh Public Safety Commission.

Earlier he arrived at Clifton Park and inaugurated banyan trees at the Clifton Park restoration ceremony. Civil society representatives were also present on the occasion.
