A delegation of foreign diplomats and defense attaches of 24 countries will visit on Thursday Pakistan's side of the Line of Control (LoC).

Foreign diplomats from Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Palestine, European Union, Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Australia, Iran, Iraq, UK, Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Egypt, Switzerland, Libya, Afghanistan and other countries will be visiting the LoC to access the ceasefire violation by the Indian troops.

These diplomats will also be shown the damages done to villages along the LoC by Indian shelling and also meet the victims. Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DGISPR) Major General Iftikhar Babar will brief them on the current situation along the LoC.

Where India has denied access of foreign diplomats to its side of the LoC, Pakistan has always welcomed media and foreign diplomats to visit LoC.

Last year in October, a team of foreign diplomats was taken to the Neelum Valley in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to witness firsthand whether the Indian army had smashed four terror launch pads as claimed by the then Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat.

On Wednesday, two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred due to unprovoked firing by the Indian border security forces, along the LoC in Dewa Sector. According to ISPR, 29-year-old Sepoy Noor-ul-Hassan and 25-year-old Sepoy Waseem Ali were martyred after Indian forces opened fire.

In another ceasefire violation by Indian forces in Bajur sector, Sepoy Sabir Shah was martyred.

So far, there have been 2333 ceasefire violations by Indian troops this year.
