Awaz Group makes a clean sweep in PFMA elections

LAHORE: Awaz Group made a clean sweep in the annual elections of Pakistan Flour Mills Association (Punjab Zone) here on Saturday when all its candidates for the Associate and the Corporate class declared elected unopposed.

No one from other groups filed their nomination papers against Awaz Group candidate after which group's members were declared stand elected by the Chairman Election Commission. Asim Raza Ahmad, Arif Dreshak, Muhammad Arsalan and Waseem Zafar were declared successful on the Associate class seats while Malik Tahir Hanif, Abdullah, Kashif Shabbir and Atif Mirza remained victorious over the corporate class.
