HYDERABAD: After the heavy downpour in Hyderabad the work of draining water from low lying areas was being continued under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hyderabad Fuad Ghaffar Soomro. The rainy water had been drained out from the most of the areas including Shahbaz Building, Thandi Sarak, Latifabad Unit 2, Hali Road, Hyder Chok Gari Khata, Underpass Latifabad Unit 7, Qazi Qayoom Road, Prince Road, Al-Raheem Villas, Wahdat Colony, Dauood Pota Library Road, Mahmood Garden, Alamdar Chok to Bhitai Nagar and Tando Jam City.
The Deputy Commissioner along with his team including Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Liaquat Ali Kalhoro, Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Qaim Akbar Nimai, Assistant Commissioner Qasimabad Gadda Hussain Soomro, Assistant Commissioner Hyderabad (Rural) Subhan Shoro, Assistant Commissioner Hyderabad City Ibrahim Arbab and others had been remained in the field till this morning to ensure continuous drainage work.
Meanwhile Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad along with DIG visited the low lying areas and directed the concerned officers to ensure completion of draining out the rainy water as early as possible.
