Federal government cooperating with Sindh police to arrest Rao Anwar: Talal

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry Friday said the Federal Government was cooperating with Sindh police regarding arrest of Rao Anwar, a Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) of Malir, Karachi.

The Ministry of Interior had given directives to concerned authorities for providing assistance to the provincial police to apprehend SSP Rao Anwar.

Talking to a private news channel, he said officers of the Federal Ministry of Interior had stopped Rao Anwar for skipping from the air port.

The Minister said Federal Government could help the provinces but it could not intervene in their matters directly.
