ISLAMABAD: National Highway Authority (NHA) has invited bids for construction 42.5 kilometre Chitral - Garam Chashma road. The section forms part of 85. 5 km Chitral – Garam Chashma -Doraha Pass Road and engineer's estimate for its construction is Rs. 3,595 Million,an official of NHA told APP on Thursday.
He said that last date for filing the bids will be March 05, 2018 and the envelope containing technical bid along-with bid security will be opened on the same day.
A pre-bid meeting shall be convened with prospective bidders on February 15, 2018 at NHA Auditorium, Islamabad,he further said.
It is worth a mention that Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) ECNEC approved construction of Chitral-Garam Chashma- Doraha road project in August 29, last year.
