Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad would inaugurate the Afza Altaf Hussain Flyover at Habib Bank Chowrangi in SITE area on April 14, 2012. This was stated by Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce Abdul Rauf Siddiqui while talking to Business Recorder at his office here on Tuesday. He said that Sindh Government had approved Rs 510 million for the flyover, which was completed within the stipulated time of four months.
Rauf Siddiqui lauded the role of Sindh Governor in getting the Afza Altaf Hussein Flyover project approved and constructed. He also thanked Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah for approving the summary despite financial constraints. He said the flyover has have four lanes, two thousands feet length and is 48 feet wide. The minister announced a bonus for the officials of the SITE Limited on the completion of the flyover which would be given them after April 14. He said that the Afza Altaf Hussein flyover would resolve traffic congestion of the SITE area and foreign delegations visiting the industrial area would also be facilitated by it.
