DPC to challenge US allegations against Hafiz Saeed in international court

Provincial leaders of Difa-e-Pakistan Council, while rejecting US accusations against their leader Hafiz Saeed, announced that they would generate funds to challenge the US baseless allegations in international court through the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Pakistan.
Speaking at the press conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday, JUD Provincial Leader Qari Yaqoob Sheikh, and Jamiat Ahle Hadees KP Ameer Mualana Fazl Rehman Madani said that US announcement of bounty on head of Hafiz Saeed aimed at appeasing to India. They further said that reward announcement had come when debate was ongoing in the parliament regarding restoration of Nato supplies.
Mualana Fazl Rehman said US also targeted leaders of Difa-e-Pakistan due to their growing resentment against the drone attacks and US increasing influence in the affairs of the state. He recalled that Indian government had attempted to declare Hafiz Saeed guilt in Mumbai attacks, but it didn't succeeded. He said his organisation was working in welfare and not banned in the country according to decision of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
He asked the US to quit so-called war in Afghanistan and rest of the region, and urged the government to take firm stance against US drone attack to ensure integrity and sovereignty of the country. He said it was prime duty of the government to provide protection to Hafiz Saeed and Abdur Rehman being a citizen of the country. He demanded of the government to take firm stance against the baseless allegations of US. "Our movement against US growing interference in affairs of the state will not be undermined through such weaken attempt", he warned.
