President of PML (Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senior Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at PM House on Friday and discussed political situation of the country. Shujaat Hussain said his party would continue support, as one of the coalition partners, as per their commitment to the cause of democracy, rule of law and the federation.
He assured the Prime Minister that his party would formulate a joint strategy with the coalition partners as it was important for the continuation of political process. He said it was linked with political stability for ushering in an era of peace and economic prosperity of the people of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister appreciated the continuous support of PML-Q for strengthening democratic dispensation in the country adding that the PPP leadership valued their co-operation as it was in accordance with the government's policy of reconciliation.
