691 medical officers appointed

Punjab Health Department has issued appointment/posting orders of as many as 691 medical officers/women medical officers in different government hospitals of the province. These doctors included 436 postgraduate trainees also, a spokesman of Health Department said.
Notification of appointments has been sent to EDOs (Health) of all concerned districts as well as medical superintendent of teaching hospitals. The spokesman has asked the newly recruited doctors to receive their posting orders from their concerned EDO (Health) or administration of teaching hospitals.
