The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has said that ANP was hell-bent on subverting peace and order in Karachi by killing innocent Mohajirs and resorting to blatant terrorism. The committee warned that they would not be subjugated by any form of terrorism and would not allow the reign of terror and crime to descend over Karachi.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the ANP leaders claimed that they had come to Karachi for earning livelihood, but it was glaringly obvious to the people of Karachi that they were involved in terrorism, loot, plunder and unlawful occupation of properties.
The Co-ordination Committee further said that innocent people were being killed in Karachi by the ANP terrorists in connivance with other bands of criminals. Traders, shopkeepers, industrialists, businessmen and general public were greatly perturbed by the activities of the marauding bands of criminal. The Co-ordination Committee said that the killings of the Mohajirs had started in a planned manner and there was no one to give them protection. The committee called upon the Mohajirs to get united for their survival.-PR
