An extraordinary "option" appeared as a possible answer to a question during the ninth grade exams conducted by Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. A question asked students: "what is the system of life based on?" "Zardari Sahib" has been listed as one of the options. The other options in that multiple choice question were religion, world and wealth"
This was not the only question in which an unusual option was listed as a probable answer. A question appearing in the evening paper for the ninth grade was: "Who is responsible for the defence of Pakistan?" The options listed for this multiple choice question included both President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani.
Punjab Education Minister said the paper was set by a teacher from Dera Ghazi Khan. According to him, an investigation is under way to find out how 'Zardari Sahib' has been listed as one of the options. The Lahore Education Board has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
