PAC defers review of Home department's audit reports

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Sindh Assembly on Friday deferred for another 15 days review of audit paras of Home Department on the request of the department officials. The PAC was to review the audit paras of fiscal years 2005-06, 2006-07, and 2007-08 of Board of Revenue (BoR) and Home department on March 28 but it could only review the audit paras of BoR.
Talking to media, Chairman PAC Jam Tamachi Unarr said that Home department's high-ups requested the committee to postpone the meeting for 15 days, which was accepted. The PAC would review the audit paras of Education department on Thursday.
