The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is organising two CFO conferences in Karachi and Islamabad on March 28 and April 2, respectively, with the theme "CFOs - Driving Sustainable Organisational Success". Professor Dr Ashfaque Hasan Khan, former Advisor Ministry of Finance and SECP Chairman Muhammad Ali will be the chief guests in Karachi and Islamabad respectively.
A keynote speech on "Winds and Waves in the Economic Scenario - Is the CFO ready to swim?" will be delivered by Engro Foods CEO Afnan Ahsan and Atlas Honda Limited CEO Saquib H Shirazi in Islamabad and Karachi respectively. James Lockyer, Director at the Association of Corporate Treasurers, UK will share his views on "Treasury - Driving the Business" at both locations.
The conference will be hosted by special correspondent of CNBC Europe and Middle East Eithne Treanor. Key topics to be discussed in the conference will be strategies for raising funds through financial instruments, cloud computing and its value for CFOs, and a case study on Easy Paisa- Innovation of Banking to the Unbanked.
The conference also features a CFO Rapid Fire Session in which top 10 CFOs of the country will share the strategies they implemented in their organisations to solve a unique business challenge in their companies.
