Punjab Rangers has foiled another attempt of smugglers on Saturday night in the provincial metropolis near Wagha Boarder and recovered Indian liquor and other items worth millions of rupees. According to details, Punjab Rangers got information that some anti-elements were trying to smuggle some restricted items to Pakistan from India via Wagha border area.
Strict vigilant measures were taken in this regard by jawans of Punjab Rangers. jawans of Rangers notice some movement on border from Indian side. Rangers followed them and challenged them on border. Fire exchange took palace and Punjab Rangers managed to arrest a smuggler with some contraband items. On searching Rangers found huge quantity of Indian Liquor, cosmetic items, artificial jewellery and huge quantity of fake Pakistani currency recovered from procession of smuggler. A case has been registered in police station and further interrogations are underway.
