The legal fraternity condemned the murder of former president Malir Bar Association Salahuddin and his son Ali Raza in Karachi. The bar office-bearers and members demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and provision of protection to the lawyers.
Acting president Supreme Court Bar Association Imrana Baloach and Judicial Activism Panel chairman Muhammad Azhar Siddique in a statement issued here condemned the brutal murder of two lawyers. They asked the government to nab the culprits and try them under terrorism law. They said during last three months nine bar members have become victims of target killings. They demanded resignation of Sindh interior minister Manzoor Wassan on failure to protect the lawyers in Karachi.
