Chicken meat demand has sharply declined in markets as its retail price has reduced by Rs 50 per kg. The chicken meat prices declined from Rs 270 per kg to Rs 220 last week, traders said. According to traders, the sharp decline in chicken meat prices was due to bulk supply from farms in the market. The prices of beef (boneless) have increased from Rs 340 per kg to Rs 380 per kg.
