Carbon and energy investment firm and adviser CF Partners is preparing to launch a renewable energy investment product and a commodity fund, as it seeks to expand further in the broader commodities markets, a co-founder of the company said
London-headquartered CF Partners will hire four senior portfolio managers to its existing investment team in the next few months, and the initial fund could be launched in the near future, Thomas Rassmuson with CF Partners told Reuters in an interview. Its first priority is to roll out an energy commodity hedge fund, which will invest in various oil, gas, coal and power products, given the volatility in energy prices.
