Grand Chinese Food Festival opened at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Rawalpindi, which will be continued till March 18. Sheharyar Mirza, General Manager along with invitees from the diplomatic community inaugurated the Festival, says a press release issued here on Thursday.
The General Manager said: "Chinese cuisine is popular in Pakistan and the Tai-Pan Restaurant at the Pearl Continental Hotel is the only authentic Chinese Restaurant in Rawalpindi, serving its guests, for many decades. Public Relations Manager, Asad Shah added: "The Festival has been organised not only because Chinese food is liked in the country, but also to mark the Pak-China friendly ties. He said that coming up next is the Grand Regional Food Festival 2012 in the month of April, 2012".-PR
