All the seven industrial town associations appreciated the efforts of Provincial Minister for Information and Electric Power Mst. Shazia Marri to resolve the issue of industrial power disconnection drive of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) Chairman, Site Association of Industry, Muhammad Irfan Moton said that on complaint of industrial associations.
Shazia Marri took immediate action and appealed C.M. Sindh for resolving of disconnection drive of KESC to the industrial consumers who were not defaulters but were being harassed by KESC through issuance of Notices and disconnection of supply to the industrial units in SITE and other industrial zones of Karachi.
She called immediate meeting of KESC officials and elected representatives of Town Associations of Karachi wherein the Provincial Minister gave her views that lack of co-ordination between KESC and business community leads towards disputes which never benefit anyone rather complication arise, so KESC should always take on board the elected representatives of business community while formulating any policy concerning business community.
