Security plan to be formulated

A fool proof security plan would be formulated for the district to ensure peace, said the newly posted Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shahbaz Tahir Nadeem on Saturday. Addressing a high profile meeting he praised the performance of the police department and expressed hope that the department would continue serving the masses in an efficient way besides maintaining an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood.
He said he was in contact with the leaders of Sunni and Shia sects and they had assured him their complete co-operation in maintaining peace in the district. It is pertinent to mention that the DC has called this meeting following the instructions of Gilgit-Baltistan government.
