Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Thursday said cases were registered against the three widows of Osama bin Laden on the charges of illegally entering and living in Pakistan. Talking to media here, Malik said that the widows of the slain al Qaeda chief would be produced before the court. He further said that was no case against the children of Osama bin Laden and they were free to leave the country.
He said that Osama children were free to return to their native countries if their mothers wanted so. He said the house has been declared sub-jail where the family of Osama bin Laden has been kept. "They can have a lawyer and they have full liberty to go to court and defend themselves," he added. The three widows of bin Laden are in the custody of Pakistani authorities since the May last year's US raid on the compound in Abbottabad during which the al Qaeda chief was killed.
