SKM Junior Scientist of the Year Award: third Shaukat Khanum science fair on February 28

The third Shaukat Khanum Science Fair 'EUREKA 2012' is going to be held on Tuesday,(February 28), at the hospital. According to the hospital's spokesman, this annual science fair aims at providing opportunities to young scientists to share ideas and showcase their innovative science projects and compete for the prestigious SKM Junior Scientist of the Year Award.
Almost 80 projects in the Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Computer and Environmental Sciences category have qualified for the grand final this year. Young scientists of leading schools and prominent educationists are participating in this science fair.
Special prizes and certificates will also be distributed among successful participants on the occasion by the jury members, consisting of Professor Dr Arjumand Iqbal Durrani from UET Lahore, Professor Dr Nikhat Khan, Vice Principal and Dean Post Graduate, Kinnaird College Lahore, Professor Dr Sufian Aslam, Chairman, Department of Physics, Forman Christian College University, Lahore.
