Message from Ambassador of the State of Kuwait

At the outset, I would like to extend my excessive happiness and my pride to address the Muslim people of the friendly Pakistan on the occasion of the National celebrations of the 51st National Day and 21st Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
On the occasion of these two precious occasions my Dear brother and sisters I, avail this opportunity in extending my sincere felicitation and benediction to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait God bless and protect him, and to His Highness the Crown Prince God bless him, and to the Government and the people of Kuwait, praying to Allah almighty to bless my country with beneficence of the peace and stability.
My dear brothers and sisters, people of friendly Pakistan, The existing relations between Kuwait and Pakistan are exemplar honourable and model of mutual relations among the countries, based on cemented and sincere historical ground and on common interest and mutual respect and firm co-operation in all fields and grounds.
Whereas, the visit of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait God bless and protect him to Pakistan during 2006, and the visits of His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, and the visit of His Excellency the Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani last year to Kuwait, as well the exchanged and continued visits among the delegations on various levels are of more pleasant reflection in order to push forward the relations which exist between the two countries affirming the joint wishes of the two sides to strengthen these relations for the wider horizon.
With congregation of our National Day celebrations we do want to refer to the Pakistani stand in favour of the right of Kuwait and in opposing the occupation of my peaceful country from the claws of Iraqi extinct army regime in sending Pakistan army reflect their contribution and support to join the allied forces for the liberation of the State of Kuwait.
At this stage we renew our confirmation for the continuity of the State of Kuwait to Pakistan for its financial and moral support referring to its role where the State of Kuwait was the first among the countries in extending its assistance of US $100 Million as contribution for the reconstruction of the affected areas from the devastated earthquake hit Pakistan's infrastructure during 2005 with concentration to health and education sectors.
Moreover, the State of Kuwait has contributed its assistance for the affected Pakistani people of the last summer 2010 devastated floods in order to reduce their sufferance. Whereas, His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait God bless and protect him has ordered to extend immediate assistance and to build an airlift between Kuwait and Islamabad for the supply of relief goods for the needy people in the devastated areas, in this regard the private Kuwaiti charitable organisations played as significant role for the awareness of the people on the State official electronic media in order to participate in the campaign where all the residence Kuwaitis and foreigners, males and females, younger and older rushed for the motivation of their human being and Islamic sentiments all in their capacity to extend their support to the Pakistani people in the time of their ordeal.
We assure the support of the State of Kuwait to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in its efforts to fight the terrorism and extremism elements, with our best wishes for the stability and peace all over lovely Pakistan. I would like to refer to the strengthen of Kuwaiti-Pakistani relations where Kuwait host over 160 thousand of Pakistani manpower extending their services in different fields actively and constructively for the development of Kuwait and its advancement living in precious way side to side of their Kuwaiti brothers and the residence of other nationals, moreover, since the last year Kuwait has borrowed the services of tenths of Pakistanis Doctors to join their duties in different hospital of the State of Kuwait, while the borrowing process is continued.
Therefore, the State of Kuwait is motivating its aim and its sincere interest for the growth and the development particularly in the fields of Economic, Trade and Investment relations with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan which reflects strength of the relations and aspire of the two friendly countries and their people.
At the conclusion I extend my thanks for facilitating me this great opportunity, as well as I renew my thanks to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its people for their graceful and kind hospitality.
