The capital police have booked 10 suspects, five outlaws and five proclaimed offenders from various areas of the city and recovered three pistols, hashish as well as looted items from their possession. During a search operation in the jurisdiction of Tarnol and Shehzad Town Police Stations, 10 suspects were arrested by different special police teams.
Similarly, police also arrested five proclaimed offenders wanted for their alleged involvement in crimes of heinous nature, a police official said. He said that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Yousaf Malik has directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts against absconders and ensure their arrest at the earliest. The SSP also directed heads of all police zones as well as police stations to ensure effective policing and vigilance in their respective areas, he said.
