Maryam Nawaz underscores need for unity

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday called for forging unity to face the manifold challenges posed to the country. While addressing a function held in connection with birthday celebrations of the Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah here at Lahore College for Women University, she said youth are asset of the country, therefore, they must come forward to play their due role to steer the country out of prevailing crises.
She added that women should also use their energies for the betterment of the country. Maryam Nawaz said the country's fate would be changed with the entry of educated and honest people in politics. She added that politicians should hold frequent interaction with the youth to make necessary legislation in the light of their proposals. She said that women must use their right of vote to elect honest and committed people. Students also presented tubule, national songs on the occasion.
