Registrar University of Sindh has announced schedule of election of Sindh University Syndicate, here on Thursday. According to a notification issued by the registrar, under the constituency of the teachers of the university, nomination papers will be invited on January 9 from professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers of teaching centres, institutes and departments for contesting the election for membership of one member from each category on the syndicate.
He said that preliminary voters' list will be published on January 13, date for submission of objection on preliminary voters' list has been fixed as January 20 and final list of voters will be published on January 26. Date for receipt of nomination papers has been fixed as January 31 up to 12.00 noon while scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed on the same day up to 12.30 noon. The list of candidates will be announced on February 7 while date for withdrawal of nomination papers will be February 10 and final list of candidates will be notified on February 15 and election will be held on February 20.
