Alleged bandit killed in police encounter

Police claimed to have killed a bandit in an encounter in Dhabeji area on Thursday. According to police sources, the accused person, identified as Nizamuddin, was intercepted by a police patrolling party in Dhabeji when he was driving a car, snatched from Karachi, to his hometown Jaccobabad.
They said the accused person reacted aggressively and opened indiscriminate firing on the police party. Police retaliated over his hostility that claimed his life on the spot. They said the body was shifted to Civil Hospital Gharo for autopsy and later moved to hometown Jaccobabad.
