LAHORE: Director General National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Shehzad Saleem here on Wednesday distributed bank pay orders amounting to Rs 119.389 million as second installment among 450 affectees of Elite Town Housing Scheme Lahore.
The DG NAB while addressing the affectees said the amount was recovered through Plea Bargain from the accused M Kashif Khan CEO M/s Service Masters (Pvt) Ltd in project of Elite Town Housing Scheme/Lahore Gardens and others.
He said NAB was following the principle of "Accountability of all " and an amount of RS 360 million had been recovered from the owner of Elite Town in the case of embezzlement.
The DG said strict action would be taken against the employees of Lahore Development Authority who would be found involved in this scam and they would be sent to jail.
He said Chairman NAB had given specific directions to all regions to ensure return of looted amounts in different cases on fast track basis.
