FBR promotes 19 and 20-grade officials

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has promoted 32 officials of Inland Revenue Service from Grade 19 to 20 and two officials from Grade 20 to 21. According to a notification issued on Friday, Muhammad Ashraf Khan on promotion to BS-21 has been transferred as Chief Commissioner-IR RTO, Faisalabad and Khawaja Tanveer Ahmad on promotion to BS-21 has been transferred as Chief Commissioner-IR RTO-II, Karachi.
Shahid Rahim Sheikh, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Customs Service, upon joining, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ) has been posted Additional Secretary, Revenue Division with immediate effect. Shahid Rahim Sheikh, a top tax manager, has also worked as FBR Member Customs.
Muhammad Javed Ghani, BS-19 officer of Pakistan Customs Service is promoted to BS-20 in same group, with immediate effect and until further orders. On his promotion he will continue to be posted as Collector, MCC Preventive in Karachi.
Through another notification, in pursuance of FST, Islamabad Order dated 01.12.2011 in appeal of Khalid Mahmood-III, Dr Ashfaq Ahmad Tunio, Imtiaz Ahmad Dev and others, the following BS-19 officers of Inland Revenue Service are promoted to BS-20 and posted as shown against their names, with immediate effect.
