Rallies of industrialists, traders, and political workers and students were taken out in the four districts of the division here Friday to pay tribute to army martyrs and condemn American policies and Nato strike. The highly charged protesters were holding national flags, placard and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of Pak Army and against Nato and American forces.
Members of Anjman-e-Tajran Punjab and Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathered at Chowk GTS Faisalabad where they presented flowers for the martyrs. Addressing the participants, Mian Shahid Gogi, General Secretary, Anjuman-e-Tajran Punjab, Waheed Khaliq Ramay, Chairman, Looms Owners Association, Zafar Iqbal, leaders of Founder Group, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other businessmen emphasised the need for unity of all segments of the society to strive for the sovereignty of the country side by side with Pak Army.
