PML-Q activist joins PTI

In continuation of activists of different political parties joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a PML-Q activist hailing from Christian community, Mobeen Sharif Bhatti Friday announced to join PTI along-with other members after, what he called, a disappointing performance of his former party.
"I am going to join PTI after poor performance of PML-Q in resolution of major problems confronting poverty-stricken masses of the country, Sharif Bhatti, while announcing to quit his party during a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club. He added that PML-Q is not severing and thinking as per its manifesto because of which people are facing various problems.
Bhatti said that the rulers have failed to address major issues of unemployment, lawlessness, energy crisis and price hike in the country. Owing to the growing US-interference in Pakistan affairs, country's integrity and solidarity are stake. He said that the rulers are begging for foreign states to keep the nation slave, saying corrupt rulers are looting national kitty with both hands. He opined that PTI is the sole party to pull out the country from the prevailing crisis.
He furthered that PTI Chairman, Imran Khan will prove a new dawn of hope, saying that his pro-poor thinking and approaches bring masses revolution in the country. This is time to get rid from the clutches of corrupt rulers, he maintained. Shuakat Yousafzai, PTI organiser, said on the occasion that his party is encouraging fair, transparent, patriotic and honest people, adding that about 70 young force is affiliated with the party, while around 30 percent people, who have no direct corruption charges, are joining PTI.
In this regard, he informed that they have formed a scrutiny committee headed by Rustum Shah Mohmand with other members Khalid Mehsud, Javed Swati, Shah Farman, and himself. He further informed that they have set target contest around 1,000 candidates throughout the country. He added that the membership campaign has almost completed in seven districts of KP, while the rest of districts would be ended very shortly. He claimed that the PTI will hold a huge political gathering in Peshawar on February next year, which will prove larger than its Lahore rally.
